Location The tundra is located in the North Pole and the Arctic Circle.

Temperature The temperature in the tundra is about 10º to 15º F.

Rainfall It only rains about 6 to 10 inches a year but it so cold that it turns into snow. It only rains about 10 to 25 centimeters a year.

Vertebrate In the Arctic there are over 100 vertebrate.

Invertebrate Here are three invertebrate found in the tundra: Flies
Beetles Arctic Bumble Bees

VEGETATATION Almost nothing grows in the Arctic.
It is too cold most of the year. I found three things that grow in the tundra during the summer months. Lichens Moss Grass

Fact The tundra is just like a desert but it is not as hot.

Fact #2 Most of the water is turned into ice because it is so cold.
Precipitation is usually snow, sleet, or hail.
