Given the name “Buddha” which means “enlightened one.” Founded in India but few there actually practice it People like it due to its teachings on gentleness and peace.

3 SIDDHARTHA’S VISION Old man Sick man Corpse Wandering holy man
Taught him to leave his life of luxury and seek enlightenment. He gave his life to self-denial and self-torture.

4 BASICS There are no gods in Buddhism.
You are responsible for your own actions. One should seek inner understanding and ultimate truth through meditation. Like Hinduism, there is no set day to worship.
