Our Mission The Mission of the Parole Division is to promote public safety and positive offender change through effective supervision, programs, and services. Public Safety Positive Offender Change

Offender Supervision All Offenders released to supervision are assigned to a regular or specialized caseload based on public safety considerations and an assessment of offender needs. The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles (BPP) may impose special conditions for an offender’s supervision based on a needs/risk assessment. All offenders under supervision are subject to standard conditions and drug testing.
