If there is no water available the plants cannot recover their turgidity and the water status decreases. The Yara Water-Sensor detects these changes.

The Yara Water-Sensor is calibrated for olives and citrus, however extensive work is ongoing for additional crops – such as apples, cherries, almonds and grapes. Yara Water Solution for citrus – up to 20% water savings without any adverse effects (drip irrigated commercial orchard of 'Navelina' orange in Murcia, Spain)
