4. Varsity Belles will perform at all Varsity Football games.
Belles will audition for each performance.
Junior Varsity Belles will perform at all JV Home Football games.
Belles participate in school events, community service projects, fundraisers, and district dance events.
Practices for both teams are held in the mornings
Varsity- 6:00 a.m. Monday-Thursday
Junior Varsity- 6:00 a.m. Monday-Wednesday
Football Season: Varsity will practice after school on most Thursdays with Band. Times may vary due to heat index.
Junior Varsity will perform on most Thursdays at Home Football games for JV football.

5. Team Information BELLE TRADITIONS!
Junior Varsity Belles will join Varsity Belles for Homecoming Friday October 19th.
Junior Varsity Belles will join Varsity Belles for Senior Night Thursday November 8th.

6. The Arlington Independent School District Dance Guidelines are listed on the Belle website.
The AISD Guidelines provide information about the policies for absences, tardies, grades, discipline, demerits as well as performance standards.

7. Attendance and tardies
ATTENDANCE A. General Attendance Guidelines
Practice will be required each day.
Practice includes scheduled class time and before or after school practices. Each member must dress out everyday unless specified by the director. This will be a part of the member’s grade
Each member will remain at practice until dismissed by the director at the scheduled time.
Leaving practice early 2 times in one week will equal one unexcused absence. 6. Missing more than half of practice from being tardy or leaving early will be considered an absence.
Absences, tardies, and leaving early from practice will result in demerits.
Absences can and will affect performance status.
In the event of an absence, the team member must attempt to contact her officer prior to the practice via phone and sending an to the director prior to the absence.

8. UIL Rules All AISD Drill Teams follow the UIL Rules for grading.
All Belles must pass with a C or higher on report cards
Failing grades will result in probation and a strike-which warrants “3 week non- performance time”.
If passing at the 3 week progress report, the dancer is then eligible to participate in performance time. This does not mean automatic placement in formations.

9. Payments! The 2018-2019 Payment Schedule is as follows:
March 26th 2018
April 30th 2018
May 31st 2018
August 30th NEW DATE- “September 12th”
If you missed a payment or submitted payment during the summer. Items are now being ordered.
Once the payment is received the items will be ordered and given to the Belle.

10. Payments PAYMENT UPDATES We WILL NOT take the $75 costume fee.
If you submitted this portion, you will receive a refund to your account next week.
Account Slips will be available for pick up Wednesday August 29th
New to Varsity- WILL NOT PAY AUGUST FEE!
Junior Varsity- PAYMENT REDUCED-$150.00
Returning to Varsity- $245.00
We will take all Costume fees with the competition payments in December.

The Junior Varsity Belles will compete at a local contest in Fort Worth!
