Beginning screen – Choose “Step 1” if new user or skip to “Step 2” if you already have a login ID

Read and click “Next”

00 Select “Exempt Organization” then type in the EIN# should be two digits plus seven digits

00 If you receive this message: Check to be certain that you have not mistyped the EIN#. If you have typed it correctly, then call the IRS customer service number.

Go to Step 2 and click on “Create your Form 990-N (e-Postcard)”

Enter your Login ID and Password (remember that the password is case sensitive) then select “Log In”. Note that you will need to add “01”, “02”, etc. to your EIN# Login ID as explained in the final paragraph of this slide.

Select “Yes, my information is correct. Let me proceed” unless you need to update your contact information. Select “No, I need to update my information before I proceed” if the club has changed organizational advisor or affiliate has changed chairman.

1/1/2013 12/31/2013 You will need to be certain that for the tax year period that it is 1/1/2013 and ending 12/31/2013. Select “No” from the first drop-down box unless the club or affiliate was terminated in the year being reported. Select “Yes” in the second drop-down box unless the club or affiliate has over $50,000 gross annual receipts. The remaining boxes should have auto-filled. Then click “Next Page”

Complete name, country, address, etc. for Contact and Principle Officer. Both will likely match then click “Save Changes” then click “Submit Filing to IRS”

You should receive this screen next, then click “Go To Filing Status Page”

You should see this screen next. Save a screen shot of this page for your records.

Save as a photo with “Filing Status (Club Name) (Year)” as shown above.
