1 Argus – Prophix partner story
Operating since: 1950 Head office: Bermuda Annual revenue: $154 million Number of employees: 171 G/L or ERP: Microsoft Dynamics GP Company website: Company background: Partner customer via Emergence Corporation. The Argus Group is the largest Bermuda-owned insurance company.  Since 1950, when we introduced health insurance to Bermuda, businesses and individuals have turned to Argus to meet their insurance and retirement needs.  Today, our clients include many of Bermuda’s largest businesses who rely on us for employee benefits and property and casualty insurance. Building on decades of experience and a strong capital base, Argus provides a broad range of insurance, retirement and financial services to meet the needs of both businesses and individuals. Business problems that led to evaluating CPM, adopting Prophix: Budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data consolidations. Personnel planning was a serious pain point, as their manual process was not able to capture their true requirements to plan/budget for employees in multiple countries, multiple office locations, and in multiple currencies (with their varying/fluctuating exchange rates). They were very impressed with DPM.

2 Argus – Prophix partner story
Benefits: Time savings No more dependence on spreadsheets Will be able to budget for multiple locations/countries, and factoring in the value of multiple currencies Strategic (long-range) forecasting will be possible, primarily around revenue planning and personnel costs (see prior business problems) They were conducting revenue planning using spreadsheets. Could only do so factoring in services. Can now conduct revenue planning by clients *and* by services This gives them more detail, greater insight into performance, and allows them to direct their resources to the appropriate customers and services for greater profitability CapEx: will calculate depreciation for laptops, servers, furniture, etc. for more accurate budgeting
