5. If a Political Party believes that government should do very little and let people take care of themselves, they are said to be on the Conservative, or right end of the spectrum.
If a Political Party believes that government should have a bigger impact in people’s lives by providing services like schools and healthcare, then they are said to be on the Liberal, or left end of the spectrum.
Going too far on either side of the spectrum can be dangerous!
