3 Aesthetics Do you like the products colours? Why?
What do you think of the products shape? Is the appearance modern or contemporary? Is the design detailed or basic? Does the product have a theme? Is it bright and colourful?

4 Cost How much does the product cost to buy?
How expensive are the materials used? Is the products cost competitive against others? Why do you think the product costs this much? Do you think the cost is appropriate? Due to the cost where would it be sold? Due to the cost who do you think it is aimed at?

5 Client Who will the person be that uses the product?
What age/gender do you think it is aimed at? Do you think it is suitable for a range of users? How is the product appropriate for the user? What information do you know about the user? Do you think the client has a budget? Do you think the user has any particular needs?

6 Environment Is the product environmentally friendly?
Can the product be recycled after its life? Have any parts of the product been repaired? Has as little materials as possible been used? Have any or could any parts be reused? Where will/could the product be used? Has it been designed for indoor or outdoor use? What type of shop would sell this product?

7 Size What are the dimensions of the product?
Does the size mean it is easily portable? Is the size suitable for the location it will go? Is the size suitable for any objects it may hold? Has anthropometric data been considered? Is the product ergonomic?

8 Safety Are there any obvious safety concerns?
Has the product got a safe/smooth finish? Are there any sharp edges/corners? Could fingers get caught in moving parts? Are there small pieces dangerous for children? Is there a toxic finish on the product? Has the product got any extra safety features?

9 Function What does the product do? How does the product work?
Does the product do more than one thing? What is the main function of the product? How well does the product perform its function? Does the product have any unique features? Is the product portable?

10 Materials What materials are used in the product? What combinations of materials are there? Are the materials appropriate? Why do you think those materials have been used? Do the materials hold aesthetics properties?

11 Manufacture How has the product been manufactured?
How many/what techniques have been used? Has the product been manufactured in batch? Does this affect the processes or quality? What joints have been used? Why?

Could you include more points from each category? Do you need to add the word because on the end of any statements and justify them? Do you need to add both good and bad points?
