Looking into who was involved with the initiative - local climate organizations (350PDX), non-profits working with communities of color, and an interfaith group called EcoFaith Recovery - desiring to root our advocacy with people of faith, we desired to partner with EcoFaith Recovery. EcoFaith is a “leadership development and support group” that encourages us and empowers dispersed leadership and so b/c of my capacity and interest and St. Ignatius having a larger team involved, we have stepped up as leaders which has grown our connection and relationship and also supported the impact of EcoFaith within PCEF

Continuing to attend monthly EcoFaith meetings and online communications through Basecamp
Both cultivating more advocacy within St. Ignatius and partnering with other congregations through EcoFaith - we’ve become the hub for faith signatures in Portland and we’ve recruited 8 more parishioners to help with signature collection thus far, and connecting with the Archdiocese, other communities of faith (ecumenical connections), Catholic Sentinel, others through this advocacy opportunity
