Ex: 28 students, three meters long, 10 seconds Qualitative – observations that are not easily measured Ex: colors, rankings, descriptive

5 Examples Usain Bolt ran the 100 meters in a world record time of 9.69 seconds. Usain Bolt ran faster than anyone in the world.

10 Inference A logical conclusion based on observations and your prior knowledge Allow you to make sense of what you observe
