Genetics UDF ( User Defined Fields ) definitions:
3
Definition of UDFs:
4
Test level UDFs are used in Testing Info Tab in Accessioning and Order Entry:
5
Test specific Level UDFs are available in test grid across the system:
6
Order Level UDFs are available in Order Panel across the system:
7
GA grid is available in Testing Info Tab across the system:
8
Test Tasklist level UDFs are available in all tasklist headers:
9
Patient and Visit level UDFs are available on Patient panel across the module:
10
Specimen Level UDFs are available on Specimen grid Tab:

Rules Based System (RBS)
Allows User to define rules ( conditions and actions ) across the system User is able to define rules ( system behaviour ) on ceration screens and also on background processes like saving data to DB ( on server ) These are the major triggers user defines rules:
12
RBS Ordering rules:
13
RBS – Common:
14
RBS – Order Entry:
15
RBS – Accessioning Entry:
16
RBS – Processing Action Complete:
17
RBS – Result Entry:
18
RBS – Result Processing Worksheet:
19
RBS- Specimen Worksheet Processing:
20
RBS – Test Worksheet Builder:
21
RBS – Result Tasklist:
22
RBS – DMI Update:
23
RBS on Demand:
24
RBS – Custom Condition and Action:
25
Conclusion: With different level UDFs ( and screen customizations ) system allows to capture unlimited additional testing information on different screens With multiple RBS trigger points across the system, user is able to build additional logic for data/result handling Questions………
