He has made an important speech from the train station as soon as he arrived

10. November 17th, 1917-Bolsheviks Take Over
Trotsky, a leading Bolshevik, organizes the Red Guard. They take control of:
Train stations & bridges
Main telegraph office
Other key buildings
Kerensky (leader of the P.G.) fled.
The Bolsheviks have taken the city except for the Winter Palace where the PG is seated.

12. The Storming of the Winter Palace
At 9.00 pm the cruiser-ship Aurora fired a shell to signal the start of the takeover of the Palace!
The Bolsheviks marched on the Palace …but defenders had either fled or gave up!
The PG was captured
and the Bolsheviks
had control of Russia!
