Republic of Macedonia Ministry of Education and Science Directorate for Promotion and Development of the Languages in the Education for the Ethnic Minorities General for the directorate Established in 2002, fully equipped in 2005 year; Two units – Unit for languages and unit for children's rights and promoting the values of peace and tolerance; Takes care about the implementation of the constitutional and law obligations for education on mother tongue for the member of the communities; Together with the Pedagogical department is responsible for securing textbooks in the languages for the members of the communities;

Republic of Macedonia Ministry of Education and Science Directorate for Promotion and Development of the Languages in the Education for the Ethnic Minorities General for the directorate Enabling equal access to quality education for the members of communities in all levels of education; Coordinates the work on projects toward strengthening the tolerance between the members of the communities.

Republic of Macedonia Ministry of Education and Science Directorate for Promotion and Development of the Languages in the Education for the Ethnic Minorities Reforms in the educational system Law regulation (Law on Secondary Education, Law on VET, Law on State Examination Centre, Law on State Education Inspectorate); Compulsory secondary education; Decentralization; Development of curricula; Quality assurance in education; Promoting integration, social equity, social inclusion and cohesion, and multicultural dialogue.

Republic of Macedonia Ministry of Education and Science Directorate for Promotion and Development of the Languages in the Education for the Ethnic Minorities Policies and affirmative actions in the educational system for the members of the communities Macedonians, Albanians, Turks and Serbians are following the teaching classes in their mother tongue in primary and secondary education; On university level there are two Universities on Albanian language (one state and one private) and cathedra on Turkish and Serbian language;

Republic of Macedonia Ministry of Education and Science Directorate for Promotion and Development of the Languages in the Education for the Ethnic Minorities Policies and affirmative actions in the educational system for the members of the communities Vlach, Bosnians and Roma community in primary education their mother tongue are following through elective subject Language and Culture of the Communities which starts from 3th grade primary education; On university level there is elective subject Roma history and culture and also the Vlach language is learning as elective subject in one pedagogical faculty in Stip.
