Introduction: Over the past couple of years, there has been a growing interest in an ability to create once and publish to multiple formats. Eedo has responded to this in various ways. We offer a print functionality, we offer publish to web, to mobile devices. We introduced and expanded blended support for ILT materials through workflow and project management. Today in the ForceTen LCMS you manage assets at an extremely granular level and can also manage documents in a taxonomy. We also offer full flexibility for metadata.
Over the past 24 months, we have seen a growing demand for single source publishing. As part of our evaluation, we have examined a number of requests and have developed a solution to address the need for creating and reusing assets for multiple print requirements found in a “typical” learning organization. We continue to also be committed to “ease of use” recognizing all too well that the development of structured content using advanced programming languages does not fit in organizations where “SME’s” are developing content. “Remember Bill Shook’s presentation on S100D” We offer AICC a “sneak preview” of Eedo Publisher – Phase 1…planned for introduction at Eedo’s User Conference in San Francisco in April.

The storage of the single source Knowledgebase from EEDO Publisher within the LCMS will allow for reuse of assets.
Alllows for a centralized approach for managing EEDO Publisher content from ForceTen.
ForceTen 5.2 will provide support for the creation of topic based structured documents in ForceTen using a document oriented editor.
Makes use of standard ForceTen objects and can be used to publish templated, structured document types using the EEDO Publisher tool.
