2. Full Faith and Credit Clause
Article IV, Section 1 states: “Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each state to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other state.”
Public Acts: Laws of the state.
Records: Documents like birth and marriage certificates.
Judicial Proceedings: Outcome of trials.

3. Extradition
Article IV, Section 2: “A person charged in any state with treason, felony, or other crime who flees justice and is found in another state shall be delivered up to the state having jurisdiction of the crime.”
Translation: A fugitive who flees from law enforcement by crossing into another state, can be returned by that state to the original state where the crime was committed.

4. Privileges and Immunities
Article IV, Section 2: “The citizens of each state shall be entitled to all privileges and immunities of citizens in the several states.”
Translation: Each state must recognize the right of any American to travel in or become a resident of that State – and allow every citizen no matter where they live – to buy, own, or rent property.
