FAITH FOR THE VISION

2. THE SIX PHASES OF FAITH PHASE 1: DREAM
Nothing happens until someone starts dreaming.
God’s dream will always require faith. (Matthew 9:27-34, Mark 9:14-32)
If a dream comes from God you cannot do it on your own. (Ephesians 3:20)
You can only do it by faith. (Hebrews 11:1,6)
If the vision is big enough the facts don’t matter.
God’s dream will never contradict God’s Word.
(Isaiah 55:3-11, Jeremiah 1:4-19)

3. THE SIX PHASES OF FAITH PHASE 2: DECISION
Nothing is going to happen to your dream until you wake up and put it into action. (James 2:14-26, Mark 5:21-43)
You must invest: commitment, time, money, reputation, energy.
You must let go of security. You can’t go forward in faith and hold on to the past at the same time. (Genesis 12:1-8, Exodus 14:10-31)

4. THE SIX PHASES OF FAITH PHASE 3: DELAY
God will not fulfill your dream immediately. Why? Because God wants to work on you before He works on the project.
How do you handle the waiting rooms of your life? (Isaiah 40:29-31)
Waiting teaches us to trust God. God’s timing is perfect.

5. THE SIX PHASES OF FAITH
Waiting allows us to see God’s Providence. (Psalm 37:1-40, Proverbs 16:1-9, Job 13:15, 2 Corinthians 12:7-10, Isaiah 55:8-11, 2 Corinthians 4:7-11)
Waiting allows us to experience God’s Provisions. (Isaiah 43:2, Daniel 3:24-28, Isaiah 41:13, 1 Peter 1:6-8)
Waiting allows us to enjoy God’s Privileges.
(Numbers 23:19-20, Romans 8:28, 1 Peter 5:7,
Psalm 27:13-14)

6. THE SIX PHASES OF FAITH PHASE 4: DIFFICULTY
God uses difficulty to work on your faith and character. (Job 23:10, Romans 8:28-39, Romans 5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 4:1-17, Hebrews 12:4-11, 1 Peter 1:7)
PHASE 5: DEAD END
Dead ends are a part of God’s plan for your life. (Exodus 13:17- Exodus 14:31, I Kings 17:1-16)

7. THE SIX PHASES OF FAITH PHASE 6: DELIVERANCE
The best response to a dead end is to expect God to act.
