4 How the sun works There is a dark side and a light side
Gives you sun from the morning to afternoon It gives you the shadow you have today

5 Shadows We NEVER look directly at the Sun because it is dangerous
The Sun creates shadows. If there is sunshine, there will be shadows. Without the Sun, we would not have shadows. If the Sun is shining behind us, we will see our shadows in front of us. A shadow happens when an object (or a person) gets between the Sun and the surface of the Earth

6 The sun’s rotation The Sun spins counterclockwise as seen from space above the Sun, with the Sun's North Pole being up. Not all parts of the Sun rotate at the same speed. At its equator, it takes 27 days for the Sun to complete one rotation.

7 The Beautiful Big Ball Of Fire
The beautiful sun moves across each planet . But truly it is not moving across the planet . It is really still where it is. But since the earth goes round and round it looks like the sun is moving across the entire world . At midday the sun is bright up high in the sky . When it is sunny you can see your beautiful shadow.

8 Energy The light and heat from the sun is currently being using as solar energy Solar energy technologies are helping to solve some of the most urgent problems the world now faces.
