4 MINIMUM REQUIREMENT FOR BILLING THROUGH AMR /MRI BILLING
MODEM SHOULD BE INSTALLED AT CONSUMER METER NETWORK SIGNAL STRENGTH SHOULD BE PROPER METER SERIAL NO AND METER MAKE SHOULD BE CORRECTLY UPDATED IN CCB TYPE OF CONNECTION SHOULD BE MRI/Non-SBM IN CCB SBM FLAG SHOULD BE “N” IN CCB BILLING AND SERVICE CYCLE SHOULD BE “HV”, “MRI” OR “NON SBM” IN CCB CONSUMERS SHOULD BE OPERATIVE (NO BILL AFTER DATE) CONSUMER SHOULD NOT HAVE DOUBLE METERING

5 MINIMUM REQUIREMENT FOR BILLING THROUGH AMR /MRI BILLING
CONSUMER MUST BE AVAILABLE IN MDAS METER SERIAL NO AND MAKE IN CCB , MDAS AND AT SITE SHOULD BE SAME METER READING DATA COMING THROUGH AMR SHOULD BE PROPER METER READING DATA COMING THROUGH MRI SHOULD BE PROPER

6 TYPE OF METER IN MDAS MDAS IS HAVING FOLLOWING METER TYPE:
SYSTEM METER – FEEDER METER / – TRANSFORMER METER BOUNDARY METER – RING FENCING METER CONSUMER METER – METER INSTALLED AT CONSUMER PREMISES MDAS IS HAVING FOLLOWING CONSUMER TYPE: HV – KEEP RECORD OF METER HISTORICAL DATA (ALL HV, HT AND TOD CONSUMERS) NON HV – KEEP RECORD OF CURRENT METER DATA (LMV CONSUMER EXCEPT TOD)

7 PROCESS FLOW - MRI Consumer Reading data collection at Division/ Subdivision level Uploading the reading data in desired format in respective meter sub-folder in MDAS folder at local desktop. Auto upload utility will move all the reading data at common drive at server in next 30 min. User will get the confirmation after successfully transfer of reading data. Moving and processing of files at MDAS server from common drive. Billing data populated to CCB from MDAS through billing request flow for further bill generation purpose at CCB end.

8 SUPPORTED FILES OF METER MAKE
Secure meter : .EMD, .MRD, .CDF, .XML LNT meter : .XML Genus meter : .ZXT, .XML LNG meter : .2NG. .XML HPL meter :.MDTX, .XML .XML should be in correct MIOS (Meter Inter Operability Solution) format

9 REPORTS FOR THE FILES RECEIVED - MRI AND AMR
901 This report gives the status of all the consumer migrated with their Files status received at MDAS. 902 This report gives the status of failure of Files received at MDAS. Navigation: MDAS-> Global->Reports->excel reports-901, 902

10 REASON FOR FAILURE OF READING FILES AT MDAS
Meter Number/Make not Synchronized with MDAS File Corrupt / Incomplete file/ Saving issue

11 FAILURE REASONS FROM MDAS TO CCB
Current month billing data not available Request from CCB due billing cycle Billing data authentication failure like MD KVA null TOD Mismatch History data missing

12 FAILURE REASONS AT CCB Consumer having Bill After Date
Consumer Temporally disconnected Consumer Already Billed Pending Bill exist Meter having incorrect register

13 Error type and resolution:
Error remark in Report 901 Exact Cause of error Resolution of the error CMRI consumer Meter reading not available. Current month reading data not available in the reading file uploaded for Non- HV  cases Correct Reading File need to be uploaded This can be due to Following reasons 1. Wrong month reading file uploaded in the System 2. Wrong reading file uploaded in the System which might be due to wrong MRI 3.  Absence of all history parameter in the reading file 4. File which are uploaded after the Billing request(CCB) of the day , but these record will be updated in next billing request if all parameters are available Consumer not available in CIM. Reading request made for the meter is with other Consumer number with respected to migrated Consumer Correct Consumer and meter mapping should be requested for Billing by CCB, or Correct updation to be done at MDAS / CCB end. Data not saved to MDAS Meter is not available at MDAS at the time of file pasting Re-uploading of correct reading required

14 Error type and resolution:
Error remark in Report 901 Exact Cause of error Resolution of the error Main Active History parameters not available KWh(History) is Missing in the Reading file uploaded Check the Meter/ reading file Main Active History parameters not available Main Apparent History parameters not available KWH(Active) and KVAh(Apparent) History is Missing in the Reading file uploaded Main Apparent History parameters not available KVAh(History) is Missing in the Reading file uploaded Maximum Apparent Demand History parameters not available MD KVA(History) is Missing in the Reading file uploaded Meter reading data not available. Current month reading data not available in the reading file uploaded for HV cases Correct Reading File need to be uploaded 1. Wrong month reading file uploaded in the System 2. Wrong reading file uploaded in the System which might be due to wrong MRI 3.  Absence of all history parameter in the reading file 4. File which are uploaded after the Billing request(CCB) of the day , but these record will be updated in next billing request if all parameters are available Meter tariff not configured. Wrong category of Meter Migrated mainly DLMS as NON -DLMS and vice e versa Correct migration required Not Requested for Billing CCB have not requested for billing data from MDAS Billing request to be updated by CCB Reading File not found File not received at MDAS end/ If files pasted by the Billing agency, might not be in the Correct format due to which not available in 901/902) New Request Pending for Billing User have uploaded a new reading as its previous file was failed in Billing export, now new request for Billing from CCB is pending Billing request to be updated by CCB, check next day wrt to file processing date Data Validation check (G27 tag) is invalid. Unauthenticated XML file uploaded for the SML makle meter as 27 Tag in XML file is invalid Upload Correct authenticated file

LOG COMPLAINT OF YOUR ISSUES THROUGH HPSM OR THROUGH OR CALLING HELPDESK AT ENSURE TO SET AUTHENTICATION QUESTION IN CCB IN ORDER TO RESET PASSWORD BY YOUR OWN WITHOUT ANY DELAY.
