1 Day 1 Bellwork: What is this figure?  Objective: Student can identify primary, secondary and intermediate colors. CW: Color Wheel PowerPoint and notes, Introduce Color Lap Book, and color wheel worksheet HW: None! 

2 Day 2 COLOR UNIT Bellwork: What do you get when you mix a primary and a secondary color together? Give an example. Objective: Student can identify primary, secondary and intermediate colors. Student can depict the 6 main color schemes. CW: Learn: Color Schemes Start: Color Scheme ppt. and Notes (guided or self-lead), Color Scheme Color Sheets Finish: Color Wheel HW: None! 

4 Day 2 COLOR UNIT Bellwork: What do you get when you mix a primary and a secondary color together? Give an example. Objective: Student can identify primary, secondary and intermediate colors. Student can depict the 6 main color schemes. CW: Finish: Color Scheme Color Sheets When You’re Done: Finish Color Wheel and Value/Neutral Charts HW: None! 

5 Day 3 COLOR UNIT Bellwork: One person from your table get the black bin from the front and bring it to your table, get out your slips with all of your Color Unit materials (color wheel, color scheme pictures and rubric) Objective: Student can identify primary, secondary and intermediate colors. Student can depict the 6 main color schemes. CW: Finish: Color Schemes, Value scale and Neutral charts Start: Cutting and gluing Color Wheel, Value and Neutral HW: Finish your color schemes if you are not done.

6 Day 5 Bellwork: Which color scheme did you struggle with the most yesterday? Write down the definition and give an example of colors that fit this color scheme definition. Objective: Student can depict the 6 main color schemes. CW: Pick a folder, cut out your Color Wheel (be sure to re-lable your chart if you cut off the labels), and decorate the front cover (name, design and “color” somehow in the title), Start warm and cool color collages. HW: Finish color scheme worksheets if not completed. Monday/Tuesday Color Scheme Quiz!

7 Day 6 Bellwork: Gather all Bellwork (4), put your name on it and turn it in at the front of the class. Get out your Lap Book materials and clear off your desk. Objective: The Student can reflect on color theory as a consumer. CW: Finish: Collages and finish your Flip Book. Start: Clue-In on Color ppt. and Notes HW: Color Lap Books due Tuesday at the beginning of class! Color Schemes Kahoot Quiz Tuesday. Think about what theme you want for your Dream Room Design.
