Basic report- comment on the issue and original decision of the following cases- if you turn in a report that mentions the Supreme Court you will receive a zero 1- Edwards v South Carolina, Goss v Lopez, Printz v USA, School District of Abington Township, PA v Schempp, West Virginia Board of Education v Barnette, BOE of Westside Community Schools vs Mergens, TLO vs New Jersey- 1985

3. Comment on the appellate jurisdiction, at the state level, federal district court or appeals court, and the Supreme Court’s decision, of each case- make sure in your writing you answer the following?
Did the Supreme Court overturn the original decision?
What was the majority opinion and dissenting opinion of the case? Please list a vote total and reason for each side’s opinion

5. Analysis
With a partner, through word processing, give your opinion with analysis, and an explanation of four of the six court cases, in ranked order, as of 2015, which of these decision are most important to your rights as an American student. Drop the Printz case since this deals with weaponry. Make sure you include your reasoning the placement of each case, why Edwards is #1 and Goss is #4, and your reasoning for dropping the other two. There is an oral presentation required as well.
