1 Report of clinical case of posterior scleritis
Rubio Álvarez N, Castaño Martín B, Gorroño Echebarría MB, Martínez MJ. Hospital Universitario Príncipe de Asturias, Alcalá de Henares, Madrid. CLINICAL CASE 20y woman with right red and painful eye and visual change after ten days of progression. Visual acuity: 1 both eyes BMC: dilated scleral vessels without whitening after fenilefrine and no Tyndall Funduscopy: nasal optic disc edema, vascular tortuosity, macular star iniciation without vitritis or vasculitis

2 RESULTS B-scan ultrasonography: T-sign
Angiography: optic disc edema and macular folds.

3 DIAGNOSIS: posterior scleritis TREATMENT: prednisone 60mg
RESULTS Macular OCT: macular folds and thickening associated to two neurosensorial detachment. Optic nerve OCT: Optic disc edema. DIAGNOSIS: posterior scleritis TREATMENT: prednisone 60mg

4 EVOLUTION Followed by Rheumatology and Ophthalmology,
Orbitary TC, orbitary RMN with and without contrast, thorax Rx: normal Serology and antibody studies: negative Ten days after the event, macular OCT is normal, so the corticosteroid dose was gradually tapered off during three months. NEW EVENT a month after finishing the therapy: prednisone 60mg, methotrexate, folic acid, vitamin D and calcium. 457µm

5 EVOLUTION Currently, after five months with therapy, she persists asymptomatic with normal OCT and B-scan.
