Option #3 – Chip seal Chip seal
Cannot seem to find a company to apply this product Last chip sealed - time of upper roads deeded to the county. Engineer – Whatcom County Roads relinquished to the county Whatcom County – Ron and I visited the Whatcom County engineers to check into the possibility of chip seal. Whatcom County would take our roads into their maintenance program, if the roads were brought up to standard – 26’ wide, 20’ and 3’ each side of the road. They would then chip seal the roads for us, but they would be brought into the county. 100% agreement would have to be made by each home owner, and then the request would go before their board, and when approved an engineer would be sent from Whatcom county to advise us on what had to be completed before they would take them into the county program. This may put up the taxes in the area? 11/30/2018
