1. Nobility in Management Dr. Brahm Prakash
He evolved a unique organization integrating multiple institutions - VSSC.
Prof. Brahmprakash is famous for the evolution of management with nobility.
He converged all scientific and technological work to be focused towards SLV3 and its satellite.
He guided the first management plan (SLV3), it has become the working document for the whole organization – first mission mode programme to realize a national vision.
Multiple views emerged and how many people were afraid of loosing individuality due to the main mission, thereby throwing anger in the meetings.
He made the people realize that “the programme bigger than any individual”.
The anger, fear and prejudice have all vanished in the presence of his nobility in thinking.
Simultaneously multiple projects are progressed in ISRO centers. This dynamic situation is due to evolution of Brahmaprakash technical and management leadership.

2. Nuclear Scientist par Excellence Dr. Raja Ramanna
Pokhran I – nuclear test – technological and management challenges
Chief Architect of the Pokhran-I and later on Scientific Advisor to Raksha Mantri.,
Dr. Raja Ramanna invited me to lead the missile programme envisaged by DRDO.
My reentry back to Defence leading to change of life style, evolution of missile programme and the rest is history.
As the Chairman of the Council of the Institute, he shaped and guided the Institute’s rise to the top.

3. A pioneer in composite materials - Dr. Ramaseshan
Director of IISc ( )
Dr. Ramaseshan assisted in setting up composite lab at VSSC.
Just like Dr. Raja Ramanna, he was also convinced that the leader for Defence Lab is needed
