Scope of Work Strategic, global, high level
No actual standardization work Focus on the commonalities Provide a consistent message To the user community Supported by a wide range of organizations eEurope Action Plan Provide input on interoperability eBIF will enable exchanges of views on all aspects of eBusiness interoperability from the perspective of standardization, and seek to reach a common approach. eBIF should be a place where different organizations and initiatives should come together to discuss their commonalities, and send a coherent consistent message to user communities that is supported by a wide range of organizations across Europe and beyond. It should provide material that could assist the European Commission in the further implementation of the eEurope Action Plan with respect to relevant interoperability issues.
