What is the 3MT® Competition?
The 3MT®, developed at the University of Queensland, challenges participants to present their research—in just three minutes using everyday language—to an audience. Detailed information about 3MT® is available here: (
Who is eligible to participate?
Undergraduates, in all fields of study, are encouraged to submit an abstract to participate in the 3MT®.
How do students apply to participate?
Students are required to submit an abstract (≤300 words) describing a completed research project (i.e., you have collected and analyzed data and can discuss your study‘s results and findings). The abstract submission deadline is Monday, October 9, 2017 at 5:00 pm. Completed abstracts must be submitted via the on-line platform:
