2 Gerund A verb + ing that is now a noun Dance + ing = Dancing is fun.
In that sentence dancing is the s/n I enjoy eating. (eating is the do/n) She will be walking tomorrow. (DON’T FORGET THAT VERB+ING CAN STILL BE A PROGRESSIVE VERB)

3 Infinitive To + verb Can now be anythng BUT a verb or a prepositional phrase To sleep is my only desire. To sleep would be the s/n I love to eat. To eat would be the do/n Her desire to act is strong. To act is an adj

4 Participle Verb + d, ed, or ing that is now an adjective.
The man DRESSED in black is the robber. The woman WEARING the blue dress is my teacher. WALKING through the park, I saw a bear. He is a LIVING legend. GASPING frantically, she told of the terror.

5 NOW YOU DO IT Tell the parts of speech in the following sentences.
She enjoys reading. I love to ski. Needing a break, he walked a mile. She wants to eat hamburgers and french fries.
