A virtual private network (VPN) is a communications network tunneled through another network. VPN provides a secure method of accessing licensed web resources restricted to systems assigned a campus IP address.
A WHUT LoginID is a precondition for using the VPN. WHUT students, staff and faculty are able to access library licensed resources from off-campus.

Ph.d students are required to do the novelty search on graduation dissertation before dissertation defense. It checks your dissertation’s novelty by searching and comparing the related published documents in the database.
Postgraduate students are required to submit published paper proof to academic office while university rewards students’ hardworking on research to increase the academic reputation. It indicates information of your published paper’s quality .

Anti-plagiarism & Graduation Dissertation Submission
Before graduation defense, anti-plagiarism detection is conducted by Department of Graduation officially on each post-graduate student’s graduation thesis, and on some part of undergraduate students’. If the result does not meet your school’s requirement, your graduation defense will be postponed. Student who is not confident with your thesis, you could do the anti-plagiarism test privately at the counter in each library.
Library collects graduation dissertation of all post-graduate students. Students are asked to upload e-version in the system and hard copy to the counter in each library.
