9 Membership Our Membership grew by 4.4% in 2006 to 16410 members.
Students growth was 6.7% 122 members were elevated to Senior grade well above our target of 100. 14 members attained IEEE fellow grade Two IEEE members received EIC medals, 10 elected as EIC Fellows Establishing “Fellow Nomination Assist Committee”, to help nominators in reviewing the fellow nomination documents and assist in finding references

12 Student Assistance Programs
Total funds offered to date exceed $1Million IEEE Canadian Foundation: About 11 Scholarships & 10 grants annually Toronto and Victoria Sections offering several scholarships. Section subsidy to attend CCECE Telus competition, Prices total $20,000 and first price is $10,000
