2. Why are we reading fairytales?
Remember, we’re using fairytales as a transition into reading Shakespeare
Both fairytales and Shakespeare’s plays include common elements, like symbols, imagery, figurative language, and themes
Let’s review those elements of literature with something short and somewhat familiar before we read something longer and more complicated!
