Solving 2 step equations
YOU MUST KNOW YOUR INTEGER RULES! What you do to one side you have to do to the other The goal is to isolate the variable If you divide or multiply by a negative number when solving an inequality you must FLIP the sign!

Steps to Solve Draw a model or write the equation or inequality that matches the model given Step 1: Identify your constant and coefficient and their inverse operations Step 2: Perform the inverse operation to the constant first (ALWAYS) on both sides Step 3: Perform the inverse operation to the coefficient on both sides Step 4: Check it Step 5: Write answer verbally Step 6: Graph it
