3. Opening- Evaluating and Teacher Model
Reasons evaluation is important:
Highest order of Bloom’s- higher order thinking.
Judge the value of materials.
Allows you to borrow ideas for your work.
Another set of eyes on a product to measure its strengths and weaknesses.

4. Opening- Evaluating Writing
Do you remember when you were a child and your parents taught you the difference between right and wrong? There was a wide range in my family. Sitting at the kitchen table, my father use to tell us to take our elbows off the table and put our napkins on our lap. These routine procedures were minor compared to serving the homeless Thanksgiving dinner, while my friends’ families were relaxing full at home. “You have been given so much in your life. It is time for you to give back,” my father would say on our trip to Must Ministries. Moral education is teaching children in a manner that will help them develop as a moral, civic, and socially acceptable citizen; it is usually developed through parents and other stakeholders associated to a child. The theme of moral education is the primary theme in Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, where readers can learn valuable lessons through the teachings of Atticus Finch and various adults in the novel.

5. Opening- Body Paragraphs
Atticus Finch, the father of Scout and Jem, continually tries to raise his children with his strong moral beliefs. When Scout is upset with her teacher correcting her, Atticus states, “Scout, you’ll get along a lot better with all kinds of folks. Your never really understand a person until you consider things from their point of view… until you climb into his skin and walk around in it” (Lee 39). Atticus is teaching his daughter and the reader to have compassion for people. He wants Scout to understand that compassion is based on sympathy, on being able to put yourself in the other person's place and understand why they act the way they do even if you do not agree with it. He continually shows this through the novel by taking the Tom Robinson trial and not fighting Bob Ewell, when he spits in Atticus’s face.
