3. Balanced Force Net force equals zero Does not move in any direction
Opposite forces are equal

4. Unbalanced Force Net force does not equal zero
Object will move in a direction
Same direction or unequal forces cause a change in direction

5. Net Force Math calculation using adding or subtracting.
Net force can be any number including 0.
Calculation of net force starts with looking at the directional arrows and then the Newtons (N).

6. Arrows that are in the same direction, add numbers together.
Arrows in the opposite direction, subtract numbers.
Net Force is the outcome of the math equation.
