Supplemental figure 1 A B C
Supplemental figure 1. The correlation of the amount of BCR-ABL1+ cells in the stem cell fraction at diagnosis with the cytogenetic response. A) Patients with high proportion of Ph+ cells in CD34+CD38- fraction at diagnosis show only minimal cytogenetic response at 1 month after the therapy start. Also at 3 (B) and 6 (C) months time-points the amount of residual Ph+ cells correlates with the proportion of Ph+ cells in the CD34+CD38- fraction at diagnosis. Correlation coefficients (r) were calculated with Spearman’s rank test and shown are also p-values and number of patients analyzed (n) in each figure.

Supplemental figure 2 A B C D
Supplemental figure 2. The proportion of Ph+ cells in stem, progenitor and whole BM fractions during TKI therapy. The proportion of Ph+ cells is counted from sorted stem (CD34+CD38-), progenitor (CD34+CD38+) and whole BM fractions with interphase FISH. The figures show situation at diagnosis (A) and after 1 (B), 3 (C), and 6 (D) months after the therapy start. The median values are presented below each figure.
