Chromaticism The use of notes foreign to the diatonic scale upon which a composition is based. It add colour and ‘spices up’ the sound of a piece.

Using this well known tune, use chromaticism to spice up the melody.
Copy one of your versions into your book, highlighting the chromaticism.
