Creativity & Resourcefulness
By: Timothy Addison
2
Creativity the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work or creation. Creativity is something that can be applied to everything that one does throughout their daily lives. Whether it be applied at school for projects, finding new ways of doing your job not only to make it easier but even fun and more enjoyable. The ability to be creative is possessed by everyone. You just need to have an open mindset and let things flow freely. Over thinking and stressing about perfection often leads to mediocre work. Some of the best work is done by simply just letting the mind roam freely.

Resourcefulness Dictionary definition: able to deal well with new or difficult situations and to find solutions to problems Personal definition: being able to do and accomplish things with what you have available to you
4
Types of Resourcefulness
Internal Resourcefulness: the resources you need to solve the problem are generally within your grasp (or inside your brain). All it really is, is creativity. External resourcefulness: is when you need resources that are outside your control. Things like seed capital for your startup, a liquor license for your bar, a distribution channel for your new product. You will likely need to interact with other people / entities to get the resources you need to address your problem.
