8. Reconstruction of wooden sculpture
The park features the tallest wood sculpture in Latvia, produced by the sculptor Ģirts Burvis and installed in 2002 in honour of Koknese’s 725th anniversary. The sculpture and the benches around it were produced from trees from the park itself – trees which were coming to the end of their lives.
