2. The 2012 Civil War will be played on Saturday, November 24 at Reser Stadium in Corvallis. On Thursday, November 15 the Ducks and Beavers will face off in your cafeteria Civil War Promotion. 3. Order BOTH Beaver (orange) & Duck (green) cookies for November 15s lunch Post signs Decorate your serving line Display cookies in team baskets Promote the traditional rivalry Take down and save materials Steps for the Civil War Promotion

4. Post Signs to let Students know the Civil War is coming

5. Decorate Your Serving Line

8. Orange and green fruits/vegetables are being offered for salad bars and serving lines to help with decorating Colorful Fruits and Vegetables

9. Create Excitement with a Beavers vs Ducks Bulletin Board

10. Separate and Place Cookies in two Decorated Baskets or Containers.

11. Enthusiastic Helpers can Promote Their Favorite Team

12. Keeping the Civil War Score Cookies are frosted according to teams –Orange for the Beavers –Green for the Ducks Record the number of cookies in each basket –If you have an extra student worker, you can ask him or her to keep a running tally on the line during meal service on paper At the end of lunch service count the cookies left in each basket report the number served for each team as the final score
