2 Length Long Dresses are Encouraged, but Short Dresses are Allowed Only If The Dress Is No Shorter Than Mid-Thigh A Slit In a Dress Is Allowed As Long As It Is No Higher Than Mid-Thigh

5 Tops and backs Dresses can be strapless
Low cuts on the front of the dress are not acceptable Backless dresses are also allowed Dresses with the back line cut too low (with reference to the belly button line) are not acceptable The sides and the stomach may not show at all, this includes sheer fabric being placed over the area

8 Pantsuits are allowed only if it follows guidelines

9 Men’s guidelines Acceptable: Students may not wear tennis shoes
Tuxedos suits sports coat with a collard shirt, tie, and dress pants Students may not wear tennis shoes

11 Additional guidelines
JROTC cadets may wear Army Dress Blues Clothing must remain on and buttoned/ attached (this applies to detachable trains on dresses) Students that are dressed inappropriately will be asked to leave. If the date is from another school, it is the BHS’s student’s responsibility to ensure date follows dress code Regular TCSS County Board rules still apply
