Objective: Students will read an assigned nonfiction passage, respond to a critical thinking question, and assess comprehension through a quiz. Open the Smithsonian Teen Tribune app on the iPad. using your username and password (provided by the teacher). Read the required document listed in the home page. Respond to the CRITICAL THINKING question by posting a response using Your response must use and before posting. Complete the Post responses by pressing BONUS: Record any new word(s) in the article on loose leaf paper. Define using the Dictionary app on the iPad. Teacher may select articles to be read on certain topics or reading lexile levels. Each article has a predefined critical thinking challenge, and responses are not posted online unless teacher submits them to the app. All responses to critical thinking questions are submitted to the teacher.
