to redevelop relationships, to open dialogue, to create tools for TxDOT seal coat professionals and to develop a training and educational series that is readily available to employees that are new to seal coats.
Ultimately we hope to have inspector certification requirements for District Seal Coat Specialists.

3. Multi-Phase Implementation Plan
Establish 5 Regional Seal Coat Task Forces. These task forces are comprised of TxDOT personnel, asphalt and aggregate suppliers that operate in the specific region and contractor members. (June 2018)

Develop a seal coat pre-construction outline that addresses common issues and challenges that TxDOT and Industry face daily.
