SMS The following presentation will provide a brief synopsis of the key functions of the FltPlan.com FRAT system and your SMS program. Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

You will notice SMS and FRAT options.
After logging in to FltPlan.com, click Premium Services on the left side of the Main Menu page. You will notice SMS and FRAT options. After logging in to FltPlan.com, you will notice SMS and FRAT buttons on the left side of your Main Menu page Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

Clicking FRAT will bring you to your FRAT Listing page.
The Current FRAT Listing includes FRATS for all active flight plans you have created on FltPlan.com You can also create a FRAT for a potential flight without creating a flight plan Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

When you select a FRAT, the airport information and weather will appear on the right side of the page to assist you in choosing scores. Hazards selected for the flight are highlighted in yellow. We will automatically select hazards that exist for the selected pilot(s) or airports Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

The total FRAT score must not exceed the maximum limit.

From the Main Menu page, click SMS to access your SMS Dashboard.

The SMS Dashboard displays your Current FRATs and Open Risks.

Click Edit Default FRAT Info to customize the hazards and scores for your FRATs.

Edit Values and Add Custom Hazards

Be sure your company information is complete and accurate.

Departments must be created for the company.

Click here to add a new user
On the User Information page, employees are displayed in their assigned departments. Click here to add a new user Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

Adding a new user Users provide and text message addresses to receive SMS updates Indicate the user’s pilot status Each user is assigned to one department & one account level The user’s FltPlan.com username and password can be stored for easy transfer between FltPlan.com and the FltSafety.com SMS system Click Save Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

Every user is assigned a role level from 1 to 5 in each department.

Company documents - policies, checklists, manuals, etc
Company documents - policies, checklists, manuals, etc. - can be uploaded and accessed from Policies/Documents on the Dashboard. Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

Policy & Document management is easy.
Click Policies / Documents from the SMS Dashboard to start. Click here to upload a new document Click Download File to open or save the document Document categories are customizable With the Manage link, you can delete a document or change its name, description, category or authorization level Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

Click the Safety Risk Management link on the Dashboard to manage your company’s safety risks.

On the Safety Risk Management page, users can report accidents or incidents, report a hazardous condition or assess risks for future processes. Report issues here Reported issues are displayed at the bottom of the page and can be sorted by department, type, status and/or date Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

Issues can be reported anonymously
Report an Issue Issues can be reported anonymously Reporter can add comments or suggest a fix for the issue in the Narrative Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

Risks can be selected for modification.
Click Safety Risk Management from the top menu of the dashboard to start. Different departments, issues, and dates ranges can be selected at the top of the page. Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

Users can input additional comments or suggestions
Modify an Issue Issues can be modified from the Dashboard by clicking Select next to the issue Managers determine the risk level of an issue based on its severity and likelihood of occurrence Users can input additional comments or suggestions Managers can provide a corrective action or assign the issue to another employee Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT

Open risks will also appear on the Dashboard.
Green = acceptable risk Yellow = acceptable with mitigation Red = unacceptable risk Grey = closed Rev. 2, Updated 7/5/2018 SMS.PPT
