The PSAT.
It’s coming…are you ready?
The SAT is replacing the ACT in the spring of your Junior year.
This year all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will take the PSAT (Practice SAT) on October 28th during TFT.

13. An Assessment of Learning
All 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will take a version of the SAT on Oct. 28th. We are building an assessment culture focus. This will help for you to look at it as an assessment of your learning, and not a TEST!   It will take time for an assessment mindset to develop, but that is the goal of fostering an assessment culture;  a measure of learning and progress to guide your learning, not an end game. The Fall PSAT will serve as a pre-assessment of your learning, where the Spring PSAT will serve as a post-assessment of your learning.
