2. Honeywell, at one time, put all the ‘brains’ on a solid state IFC board. The solid state board then only controlled a gas valve. Then Honeywell moved the ‘brains’ to the gas valve and called it the ‘Smart ValveTM.’ Honeywell has once again made a change and they are going back to the original design. The material on this slide series only considers the application of the ‘Smart ValveTM.’
