M2 Fun Let’s make a flute. Give each student 8 straws and a scissor. First straw will remain full length. Second straw will be shortened by ½ inch. The third straw will be shortened by 1 inch, the fourth straw by 1 ½ inches, continue decreasing straws by ½ inch increments. Straws are laid side-by-side, even at the top. The straws are tapped together to form a flute. Use the flutes to make music.
