This section will be short and composed mostly of a hypothesis or reasons for the research. Study background information for a poster is usually kept to a minimum. Introduction should set the context for the work you are presenting.
This will be the largest section of your poster. Arrange your results in a logical order according to the points you want to get across. Answer the questions: What is the value or contribution of your project? Why is it important? Use tables, graphs, charts , and photographs to illustrate findings.
This section should recap your Results & Project Impact section, describe the longer term implications of your project, lessons learned, future steps, etc.
Materials & Methods
Include a brief description of methods and analytical methods used to address your research question(s).
