6. … therefore, we will also present some maps, showing where the economic sectors take place (and have their environmentral pressures). These maps are derived from the OSPAR secretariat, so we will (hopefully) not have discussions on whether data presented in the maps are correct or not.

7. And what about Ecosystem goods and services?
And we would like to have a discussion within OSPAR on what we might want to do with the concept of ecosystem goods and services as a tool to make a closer link between Economic analyses (and data) and ecological impacts/improvements/developments. What do we as economists want to do with this concept? What does OSPAR want? And how can we use the concept of ecosystem goods and services as a ‘baton’ that is handed over between economists and natural scientists and vice versa?

9. And now? Chapter is being discussed at various levels in OSPAR
Thinking about the future….
Discussions are likely to result in comments/suggestions for the tekst of the chapter. Aim is to finalize the chapter this summer. In the mean time thinking about future work.

10. Forecasting is difficult; especially the future…
We don’t want a situation where neighbouring countries have different ideas about future economic developments without knowing that from each other. Informing each other is therefore important. (this applies to countries, but also policy areas/projects, e.g. Blue Growth, MSP, etc). But do we want to do more than that?
