A CENTRAL REASON WHY your coursework Is 100 years, is so that change and continuity within your key concept (anti-Semitism and civil rights) can be tracked over time. Now that you have a brief overview of your 100 year period, we are going to start looking at the big picture of anti-Semitism and civil rights over time

Before we fill in the line graph, you need to create a criteria What would you expect to see if: Anti-Semitism was increasing? (THINK ABOUT THE WAYS IN WHICH ANTI-SEMITISM COULD INCREASE) Civil rights were progressing? (THINK ABOUT THE DIFFERENT WAY CIVIL RIGHTS CAN BE SECURED)

Civil Rights Leaders Where are the highest/lowest point for civil rights in America? What has caused the increase/decrease? AT THE TOP OF YOUR SHEET – CORRELATE THE DATES TO THE CAREERS OF KEY CIVIL RIGHTS LEADERS ON THE BACK OF YOUR SHEET ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS: The careers of which leaders match the most significant progress in Civil Rights? Does this prove that they are the most important Civil Rights Leaders? Why might reactions to the demands for Civil Rights change over time? How will chronological context have affected the performance of Civil Rights Leaders?
