Light Energy Light energy is the vibration of electrically charged particles These particles are called photons and have no mass Light vibrations cause energy to be transmitted in a wave but unlike sound it does not cause other particles to vibrate

Light rays move away from their source in straight lines When they hit something they do one of three things Reflected (bounced off) Refracted (bent) Absorbed (stopped) VIDEO

Part II Prop up the card with the arrow on it. Place a glass of water a little to one side of the card and a few inches in front of it. Now stoop down until your eyes are level with arrow.
