6. Bucketing Directions
With your group take 6 of the following themes and place them into a bucket and then give that bucket a name.
Now using your three buckets, use an adjective to describe what the three bucket names have in common (i.e. they all created a more stable society)
Now you have your answer the E.Q. & your three reasons (category names)
EX: Revolutions transformed societies by impacting large groups of people in a negative way through violent overthrows of government, poor working conditions and overcrowded cities created by industrialization.

7. Evidence
Remember evidence is a fact, stat or quote that supports your thesis.
Highlight evidence used in previous essays that you could use in your new essay.
If you don’t have an essay use the use your notes to look for evidence.
If you only have a few or no notes then use the textbook.
If you get stuck ask your group members for advice.
You will need two pieces of evidence for each reason (6 total).

8. Reasoning
Remember, reasoning explains the importance of the evidence and what you are trying to prove.
Reasoning should make up a majority of your paragraph.
Reasoning DOES NOT restate the evidence.
